Guatemala, vengo!

Tonight, I am boarding a plane bound for Guatemala, and staying for TWO WEEKS!  SO excited!  Back in March, I joined a special choir and have been trained to sing 9 hymns of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Kekchi language (a Mayan dialect spoken only in parts of Guatemala and parts of Belize).  We are introducing the first ever hymnbook in their own language.  I am totally thrilled to be returning to the land where I served an 18 month mission at the age of 21.  So, 12 years ago, I met this wonderful people, and fell in love.  I will not be performing in any of the areas I lived in, but have hopes and plans to meet up in the capital with a few friends from so long ago.  I will give an update upon my return.  You know, eventually.  :)  If you are the praying kind, please keep in mind the sweet husband and 5 munchkins I am leaving behind.  Friends and family have so graciously volunteered to take care of the kids while Anthony goes to work each day.  I know I will miss them like crazy!  Well, wish me luck!
